Seven Valleys Historical Society & Museum

Home of the First Courthouse in Custer County!

Visit N.M. Morgan Park! This historic treasure is a member of the National Historic Registry.

Seven Valleys Museum

102 N. Grand Ave.

The main hub of the historic collection. Typically open to the public for Pioneer Picnic, Kite Flight and Christmas Around Callaway. You can also call the number in the doorway to explore! We'll open upon request.

This building has served many different functions in it's history. Now it's set up with two floors of themed rooms that highlight different aspects of Callaway's history!

Platted in 1885 and incorporated in 1888 there is a lot of history to uncover!

Holy Trinity Historic Episcopal Church

107. S Needham Ave.

The church as been here almost as long as Callaway has been a town! "The church was built in 1890 at a cost of $1,500. In 1894 a tornado knocked the church off its foundation. It was later moved a block west of the original site. The last services were held in 1982 and in 1995 the building was given to the Village by the Episcopal Diocese of Nebraska to preserve as a Historic Landmark. In turn the Village leased the church to the Historical Society."

The Historic Society is fundraising in order to preserve and protect the unique, original stained glass windows!

Reach out to be a part of preserving a piece of our communities history!
