• Reviews applications for supplement, change or revision of the boundaries or regulations within the ordinance.  
• Reviews applications for Special Use Permits.

Person authorized by the Governing Body/Village Board to enforce and administer the Zoning Ordinance.

• Approves applications and issues building permits 
• Collects fees.
• Conducts or arranges inspections of buildings & uses of land to determine compliance.
• Investigate and take action on written complaints.
• Receive, file and forward to the Board of Zoning Adjustments all appeals for variances.
• Maintain all records of the Zoning Ordinance.
• Notify in writing Zoning Ordinance Violations and order the action necessary to correct it.

• Hears and decides appeals where itis alleged there is an error made by the Planning Commission, Zoning Administrator, or the Village Board in the enforcement of the Zoning Regulations.  
• Hears and decides for interpretation of any maps.  Authorizes, upon appeal, a variance to relieve hardship.
